35 weeks

Almost time for the baby to be here!
I waited as long as I could before getting my hair done and today was the day! I feel much better not having nappy hair anymore. A nice clean cut and a bit brighter! I'm ready!

I had my Dr. appointment this week and nothing is really going on. She said I was maybe 1 centimeter dilated, which doesn't mean anything. I need to get through Halloween and then I'll start doing nightly walks and see if that helps.

On to 36 weeks.....

33 weeks

This week I am in need of getting everything cleaned and put away. I am washing all the baby clothes and trying to get everything figured out. We have a list and I'll be checking it twice for what to bring to the hospital. We have our bag some what packed in the closet and I need to get Ethan's suitcase packed for a couple days. We pretty much got all that we needed from the baby shower and I just had a couple things left to get. We got a bassinet for upstairs and a cradle for downstairs. I have always wanted a baby cradle so I ordered one online. The boys put them together while getting in some football as well. I love the cradle! It's beautiful.

Baby Shower 10-10-10

My mom, mother-in-law and aunt Vera put together a baby shower for me and our new little man. It was at my mom's house. My mother in law made two different kinds of lasagna and my mom made garlic rolls and ceasar salad. It was such a perfect lunch.

Ann and I one week apart!

We played some fun games. One was that I came out with this outfit on and everyone had a minute to remember what they saw on me. My mom and I had fun putting all these baby items on my hospital gown. We had 18 different items... a diaper, socks, paci..etc.

Delicious deserts came from nothing Bunt cake and cake pops from Mind over Batter. The bunt cake was chocolate, chocolate chip. Oh my... soooo good! The cake pops were an assortment of flavors. There was a carrot cake, lemon cake, red velvet, cookies and cream and chocolate. They are so rich, one is enough.

Nick brought Ethan to the shower towards the end. He was able to help open gifts and he even got a few himself!! He's such a big boy and I was so happy to have him there.

My aunt Vera made three beautiful flower arrangement for the shower. This is one inside a monster truck! So cool!

32 weeks

Ahhh.... I feel like I'm growing by the minute! This week I feel very huge and round! Anyone who comments on my belly says "I am all belly" and boy do I feel like it! My clothes are not fitting anymore and I need to do another shopping spree.
The baby is moving like crazy. When he stretches, his foot goes on one side and his butt goes on the other. My belly looks so out of whack when he does that! I am so ready to be done and meet our new son! Still have 4-8 weeks to go.
Getting ready for the baby shower this Sunday at my Mom's house. I can't wait to get the things we need and get everything put away. I have been in nesting mode for a few weeks now. I have organized my scrapbooking supplies that have been in a bin for 2 years. Now I am on a mission to find nice photo albums to organize 3 years of Ethan pictures! So much to do, never enough time.
